Sailability

Sailabilty at Frensham ponds provides a local opportunity to enjoy sailing. It also provides the opportunity to experience “freedom of movement on the water”. Trained volunteers facilitate the sailing for our residents.

The sailing is done in a variety of boats all of which are specially adapted to ensure sailing can be undertaken safely at all times. These include Hansa 3.3 and 2.4 MR keel boats.

Frensham ponds is an idyllic location and there is a positive approach to sailing. Once on the water residents can experience the freedom to move around the lake at will.
